Peter S. Buas is a trusted Worcester County attorney who brings a strong combination of legal experience and local insight to his practice. Peter earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. Following his admission to the Maryland Bar in 2016, he completed a two-year clerkship with the Circuit Court for Worcester County, where he gained valuable experience in litigation, legal procedures, and courtroom operations.
He later joined the law firm of Williams, Moore, Shockley & Harrison, LLP in 2018 and was elected as a partner in 2023. In 2026, the firm of Williams, Moore, Shockley & Harrison, LLP separated, with Peter and Raymond C Shockley established Coastal Law Office, LLC, allowing him to provide more personalized, attorney-led title and settlement services along with his regular practice of estate planning, probate, and business related matters to clients throughout Worcester County and Ocean City, MD.
